Our latest paper (in press) reports on survey data from 112 juvenile–lifers released in Philadelphia. We asked about their early life experiences, their time incarcerated, and their release and reentry experiences. Despite numerous challenges, the majority of respondents have secured stable housing and are gainfully employed; all have reconnected with one or more family members. Hear them tell their stories.
