Congratulations Conor & Jenn!!

Conor Hogan and Jenn Bartlett have the distinction of being the first doc students from the MSU Legal Decisions Making lab to pass dissertation proposal defense!!

Conor's dissertation will examine the guilty plea experiences of individuals convicted of sexual offenses, with an eye toward understanding how collateral consequences and social stigma affect plea decisions.

Jenn will explore whether individuals with trauma histories tend to be more risk averse when making plea decisions than those without such histories.
